Joan Schulze, colophon: "I found a book, old ,severely used, with the binding falling apart. The torn edges and antiqued paper was perfect collage material. My original plan was to make 13 collages for my annual contribution to the International Collage Exchange. I had 20 collages when I completed this series. By chance, a slightly surreal story grew from the random uncovered fragments of text. Not wanting to separate them, I decided to produce a limited edition artist's book."
